03:31 PM Ahh, time... The more tightly you grasp at it, the faster it slips away...

I'll be back in October.

10:21 PM Well, I'm back, but only just. The semester's load is really taking a toll on me, and frankly I don't know if the drudgery of day-to-day existence is ever really worth writing about in this online journal. So maybe it's time to go back to the original purpose of this thing, which is to (try to) articulate my thoughts about... stuff. Ü

Well, let me just write about how my dreams have gone over the past few weeks. I have very vivid dreams, and sometimes I'm lucid during them. They're not quite nightmares, but they're not that pleasant either. The setting is normally a labyrinthine building of sorts, and if you want to get really disturbing, the building has many levels, and to move between these levels you have to go on really long escalators that sometimes are more rollercoaster than escalator. If the dream is set outdoors, it's usually in an urban landscape that has its real-life counterpart somewhere in the Vicinity of Meralco Avenue in Ortigas.

Lately my dreams have been getting quite philosophical. In them I don't participate in Sophie's World-like discussions; actually, they're quite vague, but I do recall that I'm usually listening to an ongoing yet somewhat inaudible debate. Between my feminist theory readings for Media Theory class and Dune: House Corrino, my subconscious seems to be battling to assimilate and integrate fiction and information.

10:13 PM I don't know why, but the computer started getting all buggy again last week even before I had a chance to restore all my files, so I had to reformat it. I got too lazy to do any more updating of this journal after that. Rest assured though, I'll be back. I still have to get my offline life sorted out; I have a documentary to film, a research project to accomplish, and a report to prepare for. Ü
